This 1992–93 O-Pee-Chee #292 Mario Lemieux hockey card revisits the design of his 1985–86 rookie card with a different photograph. Lemieux appears in his black and gold Pittsburgh Penguins uniform within the classic white-bordered layout.
This is a 1992–93 tribute card, not the original 1985–86 O-Pee-Chee #9 rookie card. The bilingual reverse explains the reused border design and includes an image of the earlier card. The historical catalogue value printed on the reverse refers to the original rookie card, not this card or its current value.
